Welcome To Virmani Psychiatry
Dr. Adi Virmani graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and earned his M.D. from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at Stony Brook University, where he served as Chief Resident of the Consultation Service in 2010.
Dr. Virmani continued his training at Stony Brook, completing a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry. He has extensive experience in the treatment of ADHD, depression, and anxiety spectrum disorders, including Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Dr. Virmani is also part of the Psychiatry Consultation–Liaison service at North Shore University Hospital – Northwell in Manhasset, where he supervises psychiatry residents and fellows. He is board certified in General Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
